PDX Concourse E Extension.
Portland International Airport Unveils New Concourse E Extension.
Portland, Oregon
REFA has finally completed work on the long anticipated Concourse E extension. It’s amazing for us to see the finished product when just over a year and a half ago we were hanging the final steel beam. The 830-foot extension is a fresh architectural addition to Portland International Airport. Travelers flying on Southwest airlines now have six new comfortable gates filled with natural light, a hand crafted hanging art installation, choice local food and drink options, and sweeping views of the Columbia River and Mt. Hood. Alaska and Southwest airlines are currently the largest carriers at the airport, and this expansion helps balance passenger impact reducing overcrowding and wear and tear on the south side.
